The three most common questions

"Not verified, so not counted as made"

EditGuard reads every write back from your store. If the store shows a different value than was written (a metafield the API accepted but did not keep, a handle Shopify rewrote, a value another app changed at the same moment), the change is reported as not verified rather than as done, and an undo leaves it alone and says so under "Not restored". Check the product in your admin.

"Held: the reasons below cannot be overridden"

A required field would be emptied (a title or a handle), or the task would remove every tag from the store, name a collection or metafield your store does not have, or matched no products, or the store changed since the preview. Nothing was written. Change the task, or preview again, and the reasons go away. A hold you can override (too much of the store changing at once) says so instead.

"No matches for the pattern, so nothing changes"

A find and replace whose pattern matched nothing in the selected products makes no change, and the preview says so rather than finishing quietly. Check the pattern against one product's text in the preview's "Matches" list; a plain find is literal, a regular expression is not.
